This master is designed to join the research expertise of 4 universities and the Computer Vision Center in Barcelona. It offers to the students an updated program of methods and foundations of Computer Vision. After almost a decade of experience we have proved the success of a project-based methodology to learn in this field.
Computer vision is a technology within the Artificial Intelligence field, where acts as a fundamental component to perform smart tasks in systems such as assisting medical diagnosis and surgery, autonomous car driving, industry quality control, surveillance applications, or improving interfaces for multimedia data access.
This master degree program tackles the needs for both: students pursuing a Phd and qualified professionals in computer vision.
The master as a whole is coordinated by UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), and the program has been jointly designed with UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and UPF (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and takes in their campuses as well as at the Computer Vision Center. Researchers from all 4 universities and CVC are participating in this program.
