The general objective of this course is to provide professional skill and hands-on experience in applying the fundamentals of artificial intelligence/machine learning in a variety of biomedical applications.

Participants will gain:

  • theoretical knowledge of biomedical system configurations, understanding their possibilities and limitations
  • knowledge of biomedical monitoring and rehabilitation applications
  • skills for the design, implementation, and testing of biomedical systems
  • understanding of biomedical system tuning and optimization, with AI support
  • understanding of biomedical assessment, with AI support
  • specific knowledge of electrophysiological signal acquisition systems, activity monitoring systems, hearing prostheses
  • understanding of AI-based decision support in diagnostics
  • soft skills: collaboration, effective communication, tech savvy
