Course Description
This course aims for the training of individuals who want to specialise in the use of the modern WEB Application development features including the MVC technology, APIs and Frontend frameworks to work as a full-stack web developer. Upon completion of this module, you will be able to start to develop modern professional looks like web applications including the UI and Backend technologies.
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to web development, starting with HTML and HTML5 to structure web pages and apply basic formatting. It covers CSS for styling websites with flexbox and grid systems, and introduces JavaScript for key programming concepts. Students will also learn AJAX and jQuery for asynchronous data loading and dynamic user interactions. The course dives into making API calls with jQuery AJAX, along with an introduction to REST APIs. Participants will gain experience with the terminal/command line for project management. A key focus is React, where students will build a to-do list app, learn to componentize apps, manage interactivity, and apply techniques like editing and filtering. Accessibility in React is also emphasized, with resources provided for further learning.
