EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative to host a panel session at the Women in Tech Global Conference

We are excited to announce that Francesca Barisani, Outreach and Stakeholders Manager of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, is set to host a panel session called Women in Deep Tech in Europe: Trends, Gaps and Opportunities at the upcoming Women in Tech Global Conference taking place online on 23-25 April.

The Women in Tech Global Conference is a virtual-first conference that brings women tech professionals and innovators, minorities and allies from all over the world together through an interactive platform that features live educational & training content, keynote talks, engaging panel sessions, breakout rooms, technical workshops, and networking opportunities.

Technology Leadership, Tech Innovation, and Career Growth are the themes for the 2024 conference, and over the three days more than 700 speakers from all over the world will inspire conversations about how women can make an impact and shape the future together.

Career growth is indeed one of the key focus areas of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, as it aims to train one million talents in deep tech fields by the end of 2025 ensuring a strong participation of women talent in the training programmes available through the Initiative.

The panel session organised by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative has gathered four amazing women in tech from our Pledger Community: Monika Ptacnikova (Co-Founder and Regional Lead, Czechitas), Lisa Ambros (VP Business Development, the female factor), Alexandra Badea and Andreea Radu (respectively Founder and Product Manager, She is Mom), and Rasa Strumskyte (Co-Founder, Talent Garden).
