Our pledge
During the last 4 years Trimetrica implemented and supported the idea of ​​developing at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova an educational ecosystem within which it was proposed to introduce in the study process of
of the IT faculty at the Applied Informatics specialty of new requested modern courses
on the labor market – Geoinformational Systems (GIS) and GIS Technologies applied to the cycles of
studies 1-3, as well as the introduction of specialization in GIS at the master’s degree.

About
Trimetrica has its mission to deliver comprehensive Enterprise support systems that include software; data collection and validation, integrated development and modeling; spatial analysis and mapping; certified international training; technical support. To date Trimetrica has strong GIS implementation cases in many governmental institutions and private companies in Moldova, including Chisinau Water Utility (Apa Canal), Cahul Water Utility, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Economy, Department of Statistics, Agency for Cadastre, Ministry of Health, Academy of Sciences (Institute of Ecology and Geography, Institute of Geology), Ministry of Agriculture, and in more than 50 local governments in Moldova. Trimetrica has highly qualified team of specialists that hold their degrees from internationally renowned university programs on combined studies and proved its success to implement advance information systems in multi-language setting. During last 20 years Trimetrica brought its expertise for a series of domestic and international projects, including World Bank and EBRD funded initiatives both in Moldova and other countries. Trimetrica has worked extensively with secondary and high educational programs in collaboration with the Technical University of Moldova, Academy of Economic Studies, Tiraspol University, Cahul and Comrat Universities, where specialized GIS labs were launched together with the trained professors. Main lines of activities: • Implementation and support of the leading GIS technology and solutions offered by ESRI • Internationally certified training in the domain of GIS and general IT • Enterprise solutions implementation. Experience in corporate database development and GIS/corporate databases integration and data transformation • Development and implementation of the IT projects from basic to advanced level. • Development of Survey, GIS datasets thematic layers and maps with customer defined precision and scale • Data development and automation using advanced aerial, hardcopy and digitizing technology • Custom (management, analytical and prediction) model building experience
