Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), founded in 1989, is a prestigious Spanish public university known for its focus on research, innovation, and internationalization. It has four campuses: Getafe, Leganés, Colmenarejo, and Madrid-Puerta de Toledo. As of 2012-2013, UC3M had 18,676 students (15,090 undergraduate, 2,315 postgraduate, and 988 doctoral) and 1,987 faculty members.
