Our pledge
The University of Orleans (UO) fosters excellence in Deep Tech through its academic trainings and partnerships, as a member of ATHENA Alliance. By joining the Pledge, UO aims to reach higher goals and develop its Master EMINENT, which was launched in 2024 and will train 50 students yearly by 2026. Improving European and balanced gender participation in embedded intelligence nanosystems engineering are two challenges UO wishes to tackle by extending the Master EMINENT’s resources.

The University of Orléans (UO) is a multidisciplinary institution with over 19,000 students, including 2,000+ international students. It offers diverse programs across various colleges, institutes and schools. UO is internationally recognized, with 14% of students from abroad and strong connections to research and industry. It boasts 25 research units and plays a key role in regional development. UO is part of several prestigious university networks, reflecting its global and academic influence.
