Our motivation to join the Pledge stems from our commitment to advancing deep tech education. By joining the Pledge, we aim to contribute to training the next generation of innovators, aligning with global efforts to empower a million people in deep tech.

About
The University of Salamanca, located in Salamanca, Spain, was founded in 1218 by King Alfonso IX of León, making it one of the oldest universities in Spain. It consists of nine teaching and administrative campuses across the regions of Ávila, Zamora, Béjar, and Salamanca. In the city of Salamanca, the educational centers are grouped into six distinct campuses: the Historical Campus, Campus of Sciences, Campus of Canalejas, Miguel de Unamuno Campus (focused on BioHealth and Sciences), FES-Law Campus, Campus Ciudad Jardín, and Campus Villamayor. With a student body exceeding 30,000 annually, the university offers 81 degree programs in the first and second cycles across five key branches of knowledge.
