Our pledge
The University intends to participate in the Deep Tech Talent Initiative of the European Institute of Innovation (EIT DTTI) to contribute to the goal of training innovators and experts and to ensure the spread of this initiative in the region. The educational institution provides education in the areas of biochemistry and biotechnology, materials science and the latest technologies, solid state physics and chemistry, informatics and information systems, computer technology and electronics, information technologies, materials science and the latest technologies, algebra and geometry, differential equations and applied mathematics, mathematical and functional analysis, chemistry. All these directions unite specialists who make up about 61% of the entire teaching staff. This initiative will expand Deep Tech specialist programs, which in turn will attract research funding and corporate partnerships. Work in the field of development will solve global issues facing Ukrainian society from the aftermath of the military invasion to advancing the SDGs. This applies to issues from climate change to health care. PNU actively conducts training in the form of acceleration programs, support for startups, development of student initiatives. Such actions will contribute to the development of development and research at the market level. This is important for advancing Deep Tech beyond the labs. Scholars will be able to explore their own research from the point of view of market relevance and contemporary challenges. The program will make it possible to create a network of successful graduates who will improve technologies, in particular by combining several areas.

About
Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is a classic, international standards-oriented science and education center in Ukraine. University has 15 000 students and more than 1000 academicians. PNU is interested in innovation and entrepreneurship capacity-building training programs, as it aims to become an innovative center by stimulating the implementation and commercialization of start-up projects.
