Women4Cyber Montenegro

Our pledge
Women4Cyber Montenegro is joining the EIT Deep Tech Pledge to accelerate the development of cybersecurity talent, foster gender diversity in technology, and contribute to Europe’s innovation ecosystem. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and strategic partnerships, we actively bridge the gap between education and industry, empowering individuals, particularly women, to pursue careers in cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Our initiatives, such as the Cybersecurity Challenge Lab, developed in collaboration with our strategic partner the University of Montenegro, and the Young Cyber Ambassadors Program, have already equipped young professionals with the knowledge needed for careers in cybersecurity. We also lead specialized training programs like the Cybersecurity GRC Training, addressing critical governance, risk, and compliance needs in the digital domain. Additionally, we conduct digital media literacy training, helping individuals develop critical thinking skills to navigate the online space securely and responsibly.
By joining the Pledge, we commit to scaling these efforts, expanding outreach, and strengthening collaborations with industry leaders, universities, and policymakers. Our goal is to ensure that cybersecurity education is inclusive, practical, and aligned with the highest digital resilience and innovation standards.

About
Women4Cyber Montenegro is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity education, deep tech talent development, and workforce diversity. Through strategic collaborations with public, private and academic entities, as well as the other Women4Cyber chapters, we drive educational programs in the complex field of cybersecurity, supporting national and EU efforts to enhance cyber resilience. Our mission includes promoting capacity-building initiatives aligned with EU and NATO standards, fostering regional and global partnerships, and advocating for inclusive policies that boost women’s participation in research, innovation, and cybersecurity. By collecting data on employment trends and gender representation, we contribute to evidence-based recommendations that shape a more inclusive and resilient cyber ecosystem.
