The Campus Biotech Digital’s training platform,, is currently offering a comprehensive “Biomanufacturing” training program for professionals seeking to retrain, employees, or recent graduates looking to give their careers a renewed sense of purpose. This program is specifically designed to explore disruptive approaches to producing innovative therapies that are both affordable and closer to the patient.

Participants will receive training on the entire bioproduction process, from product design to delivery. The program utilizes a variety of immersive modes, such as flight simulators, digital twins, virtual reality, augmented reality, optimized control rooms, and learning machines that integrate artificial intelligence. The curriculum has been developed by experts in the field, with support from key digital players such as Atos, IBM, and Microsoft, who have helped make this training possible.

Applications can be made at any time, either by employers or individual learners by email via the ‘Apply Now’ link below. On registration, access will be provided for a set period, during which the online materials can be studied flexibly at any time.

The course consists of 11 curriculums and requires a total of 357 learning hours for successful completion. Below is a list of all curriculums with the main outcomes for learners, which are designed to equip them with the necessary skills to excel in the industry. (Note that some curriculums were in development, as of October 2023; see details below on when they will become available.)

Curriculum #1: “Environment of Production Factory” (available) 
This curriculum helps learners understand the aseptic environment and specific behaviors required in a production factory.

Curriculum #2: “Upstream Process (USP) in cGMPs” (available)
This curriculum teaches learners to identify and conduct the main steps of USP in cGMPs.

Curriculum #3: “Fill & Finish in cGMPs” (available)
This curriculum helps learners acquire the skills required for a Fill & Finish process.

Curriculum #4: “DSP (Downstream processes) in cGMPs” (available) 
This curriculum teaches learners to identify and conduct the main steps of DSP in cGMPs.

Curriculum #5: “Quality Control in Bioproduction” (available in Q1 2024) 
This curriculum provides learners with a global vision of QC in microbiology, physicochemical, and viral & molecular biology.

Curriculum #6: “Data integrity in Healthcare industry: All steps up to Product Batch release” (available in Q1 2024)
This curriculum helps learners understand the importance of data throughout the value chain. They will also learn about the impact of errors on the product and the patient, from manufacturing to batch release.

Curriculum #7: “USP (Upstream Process) and DSP (Downstream Process) in development” (available in Q1 2024)
This curriculum helps learners understand the biological system and USP/DSP development principles. They will also learn to contribute to the design of a CMC* development plan aligned with the defined strategy and USP/DSP development and production process.

Curriculum #8: “Supply Chain Management: Logistics Activities from Production to Patients” (available in Q1 2024)
This curriculum teaches learners to describe all steps for biologics transport, adopt behaviors when working with temperature-constrained products, and avoid errors even in stressful situations.

Curriculum #9: “Bioprocess Design & Operate” (available in Q4 2024)
This curriculum helps learners develop generalist skills in the specialty of bioprocess engineering and acquire scientific, human, and economic techniques covering bioproduction for therapeutic purposes. It is an operational pathway oriented towards “Biotech Manufacturing.”

Curriculum #10: “Bioprocess Data Analyst” (available in Q4 2024)
This curriculum helps learners develop skills in using data analysis techniques to support bioprocess development, optimization, and quality control. The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleansing, and analyzing large quantities of data generated by biomanufacturing operations.

Curriculum #11: “Bioprocess of innovative therapy drugs or ATMP” (available in Q4 2024)
This curriculum helps learners develop generalist skills for the production and manufacture of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
