Our pledge
With our pledge, we aim to contribute to the Deep Tech Challenge Initiative by developing, improving and delivering, together with our (current and future) stakeholders:

(1) courses in Data Science, AI, and Responsible and Ethical AI/Data Science, and

(2) sub-modules in these fields that can be seamlessly integrated into existing courses that could benefit from such courses, across Europe,

contributing to closing the large gaps in high quality and customised educational content in these fields that is currently available for European students.

To accomplish this goal, the course materials will be collaboratively developed and delivered by people across educational disciplinary groups, roles, departments and institutions. Due to the scale of the collaboration, learning content can be extended and kept up-to-date to an unprecedented degree. To enable such a decentralised collaboration, it will utilize innovative collaboration models developed by the Nanquanu Institute, based on blends of crowd-sourcing and information technology such as AI. These models enhance the learning environment’s quality, scalability, adaptability to rapid changes, and personalized learning experiences.

The Nanquanu Institute develops innovative collective intelligence systems to foster a more creative, intelligent and fair society. By leveraging approaches such as crowdsourcing, hybrid human-AI, and socio-technological systems, we enhance collective problem-solving and creativity.

Our flagship initiative, the Nanquademy, is an innovative collective intelligence system designed to create and apply highly efficient and scalable learning environments, currently focusing on education in Data Science and AI, including their ethical and responsibility dimensions.

We collaborate with leading European organizations, including universities, companies, and public sector entities, to co-create and enhance impactful learning environments, with a focus on education in Data Science and AI. Nanquanu’s multidisciplinary workforce combines expertise from, among other things, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Science Communication, Management, Collective Intelligence Systems, Complex Systems, Holistic Science, Bio & Life Science, and Educational Innovation, primarily at the M.Sc. or Ph.D. level. We aim at extending these collaborations through joining the Deep Tech Challenge Initiative’s network, fostering unprecedented efficient education in Deep Tech, through networking and building consortia among other pledgers.

Recently, Nanquanu founded the “Nanquanu – Social Enterprise Division B.V.” to extend its impact in making humanity collectively wiser and smarter.
