Our pledge
The Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Rijeka is committed to enhancing its undergraduate programs and professional courses in biotechnology and life sciences by integrating digital technologies to foster accessibility and inclusivity and enable wider audience to attend the courses. By joining the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative Pledge, the Faculty aims to contribute to training one million individuals in deep tech fields by 2025. This collaboration will enable the Faculty to offer EIT-labeled certificates of participation for offered DTTI courses, thereby enriching the educational experience and supporting the digital transformation of healthcare education. About
The aim of the formation of the Faculty of Health Studies and the main mission of the Faculty is to provide excellence in education of students in the fields of health care.

The main Faculty’s activity is teaching, but also developing scientific research activities and scientific projects, as well as new study programs, including interdisciplinary studies. International cooperation of the Faculty of Health Studies is also very important segment and we develop it through various forms of cooperation with international universities and institutions.
