IT in education

The course “Information technologies in education” is aimed at the analysis and research of information support of the educational process with the aim of optimizing its effectiveness. The course allows you to give an idea of the possibilities of various IT in the context of their application in the educational process; to reveal the logic of joint (coherent) development of pedagogical and information technologies; to provide an understanding and direction of the trends in technology changes in education based on modern IT; master the practical application of key IT in the educational process; to give an idea of the composition and structure of information systems of educational institutions. The purpose of teaching this course is the formation of theoretical knowledge regarding the application of modern information technologies (IT) in the educational process of a higher school of the XXI century. The results of studying this discipline are the acquisition of skills in the use of modern information technologies in the educational process.
